Job Summary:
The Data Associate is responsible for managing product data within the companys ERP system, product information database, external distributors, and marketplace channels. This role works closely with internal teams to support the onboarding of new products and the maintenance of existing product records. Additionally, the Data Associate ensures that newly developed products are properly implemented and maintained across key industrial distribution partners and e-commerce marketplaces. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all product data-related questions, issues, and requests.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Onboard new product records within the companys ERP system and product information database.
  • Update and maintain item-level data throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and submit product data templates, catalogs, and content packages for new product implementations across industrial distributors and marketplace platforms.
  • Provide product data support to distributors and marketplace channels to ensure product listings meet channel-specific standards and content requirements.
  • Perform routine data audits across all systems to uphold product data integrity and consistency.
  • Support the rollout of new ERP features and business-required functionalities by ensuring all related product data updates, mappings, and configurations are properly executed and validated.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, item attributes, and master data management principles.
  • Ability to follow established workflows and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in product data.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Basic scripting experience is strongly encouraged and beneficial but not required.
  • Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL is strongly encouraged and beneficial but not required.
