Position Summary: Director, Data Strategy amp; Insights

AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, Data Strategy amp; Insights to lead enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and decision enablement.

This role serves as the business owner of data strategy—driving how AmeriCU leverages data to improve member experience, increase operational efficiency, and support revenue growth.

The Director, Data Strategy amp; Insights will partner closely with executive leadership to transform data into actionable insights that influence key business decisions and organizational priorities.


Key Responsibilities: Director, Data Strategy amp; InsightsData Strategy amp; Roadmap
  • Define and lead AmeriCU’s enterprise data and insights strategy
  • Align data initiatives with business goals and strategic priorities
  • Identify high-impact opportunities in analytics, automation, and operational intelligence
  • Establish KPI frameworks and measurement standards across the organization
Business Insights amp; Decision Support
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify strategic and operational insight needs
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable data initiatives
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting for leadership
  • Analyze trends, risks, operational inefficiencies, and member behaviors
Governance amp; Data Integrity
  • Establish governance processes, definitions, and ownership standards
  • Create structured intake and prioritization processes for analytics requests
  • Improve data consistency, accuracy, and trust across departments
  • Reduce duplicate reporting and streamline insights across the organization
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a key liaison across business units, IT, digital, operations, and finance
