A leading medical device team are seeking an Associate Sales Representative to join them in Southern Georgia (ideally Macon) โ€“ someone looking to start a career in medical device sales and keen to learn the ropes from some of the best!

Their devices are rooted in a number of healthcare establishments, inclusive of hospitals, medical education institutes, universities and service institutions to ensure that frontline nurse practitioners, trainee medics and service men & women are providing their respiratory patients with the absolute best (often emergency) care possible.

Associate Sales Representative โ€“ Role Overview:


The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) role designed for a an early-career commercial professional looking to get started in medical device sales. You will be placed within a high-performing territory, and progress through a structured 24-month development program designed to prepare participants for a future Territory Manager role. In the first year, ASRs will work closely with senior Territory Managers to support strategic sales initiatives, develop customer relationships, and gain hands-on experience in territory management.


In the second year, ASRs take ownership of a defined portion of the territory with an individual sales quota, while continuing to receive ongoing mentorship and training to drive success.

This role is the first of itโ€™s kind within the team, so they are looking for passionate professionals to join them in this new cohort of hires!


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with senior team members to plan account coverage, prioritize opportunities, and execute contact strategies.
  • Execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage territory activity using digital tools to support accurate forecasting, resource planning, and quota attainment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account, opportunity, and activity records in Salesforce.
  • Ensure timely documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the teamโ€™s product portfolio and apply consultative selling approaches to customer conversations.
  • Understand simulation-based education and competency-based solutions to effectively align offerings with customer needs and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and strategic partners to deliver effective customer solutions.


Key Requirements:


  • The selected candidate must reside in Louisville, Lexington, or Owensboro + have a full driverโ€™s license.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in life sciences or business (preferred) with 1โ€“2 years of sales / commercial experience (medical, healthcare, or B2B preferred but not required โ€“ Associateโ€™s Degree + Internships can also be considered).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements and build relationships with numerous stakeholders across the business and with prospective clients.
  • A proactive approach and strong worth ethic โ€“ someone willing to learn and dive into a new role.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies, files, and demo equipment up to 100 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
