Cardiac Device Technician (Electrophysiology)

Location: New York, NY
Start Date: 9/21
Assignment Length: 28 Weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $2,340/Week Gross

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Device Technician with a strong background in Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiology for a 28-week assignment in New York, NY. This role will support a specialized cardiac team and requires advanced knowledge of cardiac devices, rhythm interpretation, and electrophysiology technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation.
  • Conduct pacemaker and ICD interrogations and programming.
  • Support electrophysiology and cardiology providers with patient assessments and device management.
  • Analyze cardiac device data and identify abnormalities.
  • Document findings accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with:
    • Pacemaker interrogation and programming
    • ICD interrogation and programming
  • Previous Electrophysiology (EP) experience required.
  • Previous Cardiology experience required.
  • Cardiac Electrophysiology Technology experience required.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and cardiac device management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
