A Brief Overview

The Senior Contract Specialist Services role resides within our Sales Operations Service Contract & Licensing Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, Procurement, WWT Account Managers, WWT Finance Teams, OEM Account Teams and end-user customers.

This role is responsible for owning service contract management, including contract consolidation and cleanup, quoting renewals, quoting new attach services required for true-ups, and all necessary reporting in support of customer engagement. The Sr. CSS will work directly with the customer, WWT and OEM account teams to ensure service contract renewals are quoted and provided to the customer to ensure on-time closure. The Sr. CSS will play a role in the strategic planning and positioning of service renewals, including customer meetings and presentations. They will also work with the WWT Inside Sales Representative and Procurement Specialists the orders are properly set up and ordered in our system.

This role is important for our overall success of achieving both team and corporate goals.

Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role as well as the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with WWT account teams, OEM account teams, internal operations and OEM operations teams.
  • Assists the WWT business units with identifying and quoting OEM service contract renewals.
  • Maintains expertise of the baseline processes pertaining to Quoting and Service Contract Management.
  • Maintains proficiency in the use of OEM and WWT Service Contract Tools.
  • Maintains good organizational skills to keep details organized for each opportunity or account in the Customer Profiles (deal id's, discounts, proper end-user information, contacts, co-term dates, contract numbers, standards).
  • Runs and maintains reports as necessary for our customers for their OEM service contracts. Manage the monthly and quarterly meetings and true-up process for customers as applicable.
  • Works to ensure renewals are quoted in a proactive manner (beginning 90-120 days prior to expiration) to ensure positive impact in our metrics with on-time bookings.
  • Provides Renewal Status of Opportunities to SCLO Program Specialist as well as Management.
  • Operates as a subject matter expert for our SCLO team, WWT account teams, internal operations teams and external customers for service offerings, contracts, policies and tools. Be able to discuss and demo our tools and processes.
  • Works proactively with our Lifecycle Services Team to identify additional opportunities outside the basic renewal to drive additional value.
  • Applies creativity when structuring deals and provides options for the customers based on their needs. Offers suggestions and advice around opportunities and options to our WWT and OEM account teams while driving higher margins.
  • Brings innovation around current processes and customer offerings to improve the SCLO team's success and drive more value to our end user customer and OEM partners.

Qualifications:

  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-4 years of technology vendor relationship development experience.
  • Demonstrated relatable business process experience.
  • Must have a passion for learning and continued education regarding OEM service offerings and policies, overall WWT go-to-market strategy and the Information Technology industry.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
