Overview

Operations Assistant

Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range
$19 per hour

Reports to
Manager, Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
Assist Operations Manager in the daily functions required to maintain market stability, including help with staff and policy management among other duties.

Essential Functions

  1. Assist with daily activities that directly relate to the continual improvement of the organization.
  2. Communicate with staff and assign specific duties.
  3. Support Operations Manager with reviewing and creating financial, market and other reports.
  4. Apply and carry out implemented departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures as set by Operations Manager.
  5. Serve as a contact with the Human Resources department for various staffing issues.
  6. Assist with new store openings and all aspects involved in the process leading up to opening day.
  7. Work with Inventory employees to manage stock and equipment balances.
  8. Collaborate with team on store merchandising.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

No travel is expected for this position.
