The Investment Ops Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Investment Real Estate Division through the execution of accurate and timely investment operations activities. This position is responsible for validating investment transactions, coordinating with counterparties and custodial banks to ensure successful trade settlement, managing investment data integrity, and supporting reporting and administrative processes across a diverse investment portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and collaboration are essential.

What you will do:

  • Review and validate investment transaction details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with counterparties, brokers, and custodial banks to resolve trade settlement discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
  • Execute the daily derivatives collateral management process, including monitoring and reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity across investment accounting and portfolio management systems.
  • Perform monthly NAIC ratings updates, monitor regulatory rating requirements, and coordinate annual filing activities for applicable investments.
  • Support corporate action processing, alternative investment capital calls, distributions, and related administrative activities.
  • Assist with investment reporting and operational processes to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and update documented procedures and OneAmerica Way process documentation for key responsibilities.
  • Provide cross-functional support and serve as backup coverage for team members within Investment Reporting & Administration.
  • Adhere to established internal controls, policies, and procedures governing investment operations and reporting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance controls.

    What you will need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, investment operations, treasury, or related financial services role.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.

      This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
