What you'll be responsible for:

Circle is seeking a dedicated Hospitality & Operations Specialist to join their team in New York City. This is a temporary, full-time, on-site role requires an experienced professional who excels at hosting and welcoming high-profile individuals with high integrity and discretion. The ideal candidate will have a background in meeting/event planning, an understanding of global etiquette and customs, allowing them to serve as a polished, formal event operations. Additionally, the Hospitality & Operations Specialist will support the programming and execution of the space to ensure success in day-to-day activities and special events.Key responsibilities include ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction, and providing attentive, premium
service and coordination at all times.


What you'll work on:

  • Managing end-to-end catering for meetings booked in the space, including orders, payment, delivery, setup, and onsite vendor management as needed

  • Planning and coordinating the overall visitor experience, from arrival to departure

  • Preparing to greet, welcome, and ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests throughout their visit

  • Building strong relationships with guests and internal stakeholders, anticipating needs and communicating effectively to support successful programming of the space

  • Overseeing the day-to-day events and activities and resolve any and all scheduling conflicts

  • Demonstrating an understanding of global etiquette and customs to provide tailored service

  • Supporting in administrative Workplace coordination, when required

  • Tracking and reconciling operational spend, assist with budget planning, and partner with the Executive & Corporate Experience Manager on vendor invoicing, payments, contract renewals, and negotiations

What you'll bring to Circle:

Core Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar high-touch, hospitality-focused role

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and address the needs of guests

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle any issues that may arise

  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, and guest visits

  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse, high-profile individuals with poise; organized, forward-thinking, and action-oriented in anticipating needs before they arise

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, as needed

  • Expected to be present in the office 5 days a week (Financial District NYC)


Preferred Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of global etiquette, customs, and cultural nuances is preferred

  • Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those common among Circle's global clientele

  • Experience/familiarity with Tripleseat, Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite

Base Pay Range: $47.00-$61.50
