Job description

Description:

About TwoPointO Capital

TwoPointO Capital (“TPO”) is a U.S.-based real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring and developing commercial properties through private real estate investments sponsored and co-managed alongside specialized operating partners.

TPO was formed in 2020, with platform roots dating back to 2008. TPO’s investment activities span the multifamily, industrial, seniors housing, active adult, and medical office asset classes, including Qualified Opportunity Zone and public private partnership strategies, with exposure across more than 20 U.S. states. Interests in TPO sponsored investments are offered only as part of TPO’s own co-GP investment activity, on a private placement basis, and only to investors who meet applicable eligibility standards.

Position Overview

The Vice President, Investor Relations & Business Development (“Position”) is a senior internal role responsible for managing TPO’s relationships with existing investors and advisor relationships, supporting the development of new advisor and institutional relationships, and coordinating communications regarding TPO’s own co-GP investment activity.

The Position owns the relationship lifecycle with TPO’s existing RIA, family office, and high net worth investor base, including ongoing communication, education regarding TPO’s investment activity, and reporting, while also supporting disciplined business development efforts to identify, evaluate, and cultivate prospective advisor relationships appropriate for TPO’s long-term platform growth.

The Position also serves as a senior internal point of contact for advisors and investors that approach the firm. This Position reports to the Chief Investment Officer and works closely with the President and CEO, the Chief Financial and Operating Officer, and other members of the senior leadership team.

Requirements:

Investor Relationship Management

• Serve as a senior internal point of contact for TPO’s existing RIA, family office, and high net worth investor relationships.

• Maintain ongoing communication with existing investors and advisors regarding TPO and its co-GP investment activity.

• Respond to inbound inquiries from advisors and investors interested in learning about TPO.

• Educate existing and prospective investors regarding TPO’s strategies, asset classes, and investment philosophy, using only materials reviewed and approved through the firm’s compliance process.

Investor Communications and Reporting

• Oversee investor facing communications, including quarterly reporting commentary, investment updates, and firm communications.

• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of investor materials, presentations, and due diligence responses, in each case reviewed and approved through the firm’s compliance process prior to distribution.

• Translate investment strategy and portfolio performance into clear, advisor friendly communication consistent with TPO’s disclosure standards.

• Ensure consistency and quality control across all materials distributed to investors and advisors.

Operational Coordination

• Partner with operations, legal, and compliance teams who execute subscription documentation and investor onboarding workflows.

• Support commitment tracking and reporting in coordination with the operations team to ensure accuracy and transparency for investors.

• Coordinate advisor meetings and investor education sessions regarding TPO’s co-GP investment activity.

Systems and Data Management

• Oversee investor relationship data within the firm’s CRM and investor platforms, including Salesforce, FINTRX, AppFolio, and Box.

• Implement and maintain workflows that support consistent investor communication.

• Track engagement and relationship metrics to inform internal strategic decision making.

Governance and Compliance

• Operate within the firm’s compliance framework, including the conditions applicable to associated persons of the issuer.

• Ensure all investor communications and materials are reviewed and approved in accordance with the firm’s compliance policies prior to distribution.

• Maintain consistency in messaging, disclosures, and approved materials across all communication channels.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between investor communications and underlying investment activity.

Business Development

• Identify and map prospective RIA, family office, and institutional advisor relationships.

• Support the development of TPO’s advisor relationship pipeline, including market research, relationship tracking, CRM management, and coordination of introductory conversations.

• Develop and maintain relationships with RIAs, family offices, consultants, and other sophisticated market participants for the purpose of increasing awareness of TPO, its investment philosophy, and its co-GP investment activity.

• Coordinate other business development initiatives, including advisor outreach, educational meetings, conference participation, and firm-level relationship-building activities.

Leadership Expectations

• Act as a senior representative of the firm to its existing investor and advisor community, reinforcing credibility and trust through consistent, high-quality engagement.

• Build and maintain disciplined, repeatable investor communication processes.

• Partner closely with the investment, portfolio management, and operations teams to ensure alignment between strategy, performance, and communication.

• Mentor and develop junior team members supporting investor relations activities.

• Continuously refine processes to improve clarity, reduce friction for advisors, and enhance the overall investor experience.

Measures of Success

• Quality and depth of relationships with TPO’s existing RIA, family office, and advisor base.

• Consistency, clarity, and timeliness of all investor communications and reporting.

• Accuracy and integrity of investor data, reporting systems, and CRM tracking.

• Positive feedback from advisors and investors on professionalism, responsiveness, and transparency.

• Effectiveness in identifying and developing relationships with RIAs, family offices, and other sophisticated market participants.

• Adherence to TPO’s investor protection principles and compliance framework.

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Seven or more years of experience in investor relations, client service, or a related role within asset management, private real estate, or private markets, or another field with significant exposure to RIA relationships and client engagement.

• Demonstrated experience working with RIAs, financial advisors, family offices, or other sophisticated investors.

Relationship Management

• Proven ability to manage and deepen advisor and investor relationships over time.

• Familiarity with the RIA channel preferred.

Communication and Professional Skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage sophisticated investors and advisors.

• High level of professionalism, credibility, and presence in external facing situations.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear messaging.

Professional Attributes

• Self-starter with a proactive, relationship driven mindset.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong judgment and ability to operate with discretion in investor interactions.

• Team oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions while owning outcomes.

• Alignment with TPO’s commitment to investor protection, alignment, and transparency.

Location, Compensation, and Other Details

• Location: Carmel, IN preferred; hybrid or remote considered for the right candidate.

• Travel: Approximately 25% to 40% for advisor meetings, industry conferences, and investor engagement.

• Compensation: Base salary ranging from $125,000 to $175,000, plus discretionary annual bonus tied to firm performance. Compensation is not structured on a transaction, commission, or success fee basis.

• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.

The Position is associated with the issuer and is structured consistent with the conditions of the issuer exemption under Rule 3a4-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. TPO does not act as a placement agent, broker, or finder, and does not market third party investment products. TwoPointO Capital is an equal opportunity employer.
