Job description

Immediate need for a talented Communications and Content management specialist. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mclean VA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Job ID:: 26-22408 Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications and change management specialist to provide support for enterprise and divisional initiatives through clear, accurate communications and practical change enablement content. 
  • This role translates complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders.
  • Must have provable successful experience in internal or external communication; strong writing and editing skills; and ability to independently research, evaluate, and summarize complex information with accuracy. 
  • The role supports change and adoption efforts through messaging and enablement content, 
  • requires intermediate to advanced SharePoint skills, basic video editing capabilities, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-visibility, high-expectations environment

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Skills: SharePoint, PowerPoint, change management, Communication and Content Writing 
  • Ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, experience drafting / developing business communications, creating and updating job aids, and supporting ongoing content updates. 
  • Candidate must have change management experience, strong operational coordination / logistics skills, proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • The manager is NOT looking for a technical writer.
