Job Summary

The Systems Analyst supports and improves the technology systems that drive construction operations, for all internal users. This position serves as a front-line IT representative, meaning customer service, professionalism, and communication skills are just as important as technical ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for Windows-based servers and desktop systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Support virtualized environments using Hyper-V
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
  • Assist with firewall, VPN, and network security support
  • Provides professional and courteous support to employees
  • Communicate clearly with users regarding issues, resolution steps, and expectations
  • Document work and follow established IT processes and procedures
  • Assist with rollout of new technologies, policies, and system changes
  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve service delivery and system reliability

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Systems Analyst, or similar IT role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
  • Experience with Hyper-V or similar virtualization platforms
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience supporting firewalls and basic network security concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting an engineering, manufacturing, or professional services environment
  • Experience supporting a multi-department organization
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and documentation
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Fortinet, etc.)
