JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs desktop and network support to local area network users and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with technology and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Analyzing and coordinating resolution of hardware, software, and network communication problems.
  • Assisting with planning and designing of office network layouts.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of hardware, software, and communication performance.
  • Researching and recommending improvements and solutions.
  • Installing and maintaining an inventory of computers and electronic equipment.
  • Providing training and support to peers and other teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience communicating verbally and/or in writing, guiding end users through computer related inquiries.
  • Experience with supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Two (2) years of work-related experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining, or troubleshooting computer hardware/software.
  • Two (2) years of work-related experience troubleshooting and handling Windows11 in an enterprise environment.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • Applicants may meet the minimum qualifications with either a bachelor's degree in computer science or a combination of current A+ and Network+ certifications.

  • This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached.
  • This position requires local travel to other locations when needed.
