As the ideal candidate, you are comfortable working at all levels of an organization and possess exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills. This role will require you to use both your strategic as well as tactical implementation and operational excellence skills. You will need to have a thorough understanding of SAAS-based compensation plans, Salesforce, Xactly in addition to the operational aspects of the Sales Compensation process.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of key compensation initiatives related to compensation strategy, business process improvement and tool implementation or development. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues. Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure program success. Develop presentation materials to clarify intricate issues and outline possible solutions.

Develop business requirements for building scalable compensation solutions by gathering information on business processes and use cases. Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate program status, risks, and issues. Coordinate sign-off process to ensure team alignment and obtain team confirmation of implementation requirements. Core member of the functional testing process to ensure successful system implementation.

Seek improvement opportunities on internal and cross functional processes by working closely with cross functional teams, and leading the implementation of improvement solutions.

Required

Skills/Experience 5 - 7+ years of operational responsibilities related to SAAS models preferred (sales compensation experience a plus). Proven track record of working in medium to large size organizations with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated successful experience in driving large projects forward successfully to completion with formal methodologies for project and/or sprint plans. Ability to work in close collaboration with business and technical teams, and communicate in technical and non-technical language per audience.

Ability to analyze pain points in areas and processes within a crossโ€functional organization. Effective in implementing new and improved processes. Strong technical/ analytical skills with an ability to manipulate data in Excel; knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.

Effective influencer, communication, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skillset - ability to create clear and concise executive summary documents and presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides) that highlight team status & achievements, drive discussion, summarize project details articulate issues and decision points, and promote brand.

Detailโ€oriented, processโ€driven and possess the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fastโ€paced environment. Performs well under pressure and can work independently and as a part of a team. Program Management capability.
