Schedule:
Supports: Mobile Grocery, Mobile Health & Cancer, or Mobile Pediatric vans.
Per diem hours could be anytime Monday - Saturday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
Job Summary:
The Community Outreach Assistant is responsible for supporting Community Health Engagement activities as required by the program manager. The Community Outreach Assistant works directly with diverse communities and provides excellent customer service to assist with daily operations of the program.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with daily functions as required by department needs which could include, but is not limited to, daily set up and breakdown at events, maintain appropriate documentation, monitor inventory of supplies, keep data, assist with administrative duties, assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, etc. Assist with sanitation and cleanliness to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Provide excellent customer service with all patients and/or customer interactions. Support the overall wellbeing of the community by providing basic education of community resources. Serves as community liaison to build trust and loyalty between residents and Virtua Health.
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience:
Community outreach, public speaking, knowledge of minority communities in Burlington and Camden County
Bilingual preferred
Required Education:
Minimum HS Diploma required. Associate's preferred
Hourly Rate: $19.54 - $29.20 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
