This part-time position will play an active role in building and strengthening Altura Medical Group's relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, schools, employers, and other referral and community partners throughout Greater Danbury.
Working closely with executive leadership, the Healthcare Community Outreach Associate will help execute Altura's community outreach and business development strategy while identifying new opportunities to expand our network, strengthen referral relationships, and increase awareness of the services we provide.

What You'll Do
As a Healthcare Community Outreach Associate, you will:
  • Identify and research healthcare providers, referral partners, community organizations, schools, employers, and other potential partners throughout Greater Danbury
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare practices, community organizations, and referral partners
  • Conduct outreach to prospective community and healthcare partners through phone, email, and in-person engagement
  • Participate in healthcare provider office visits and community meetings

  • Support planning and outreach efforts surrounding Altura Medical Group's Grand Opening and future organizational initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Track outreach activity, relationship development, and key business development metrics
  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
  • Help develop processes, tools, and organizational resources that strengthen Altura's long-term business development capabilities

What Makes This Role Different?

Position Schedule
This is a part-time, 20 hour per week, position based in the Greater Danbury area.
The role will include a combination of office-based work, independent outreach activities, healthcare provider visits, community meetings, and local events.
Because relationship development is a core component of this position, candidates should be comfortable regularly representing Altura Medical Group throughout the community.
Specific weekly scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, community outreach, referral development, healthcare marketing, or a related healthcare growth role

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships, projects, and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business productivity tools
  • Ability to travel locally throughout Greater Danbury for provider visits, meetings, and community events
  • A valid drivers license and vehicle

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with physician practices, medical groups, hospitals, behavioral health organizations, or other healthcare providers
