Job description


Join Post Trade Technology as a Product Portfolio Strategy & Operations Senior Associate and help shape the agenda driving the next chapter of our Markets franchise. You'll work at the intersection of data, narrative and leadership, synthesizing complex, disparate inputs into clear stories that align senior stakeholders and accelerate the outcomes that will scale our business.
As a Senior Product Portfolio Operations Associate in Post Trade Technology, you are a significant contributor to your team with a strong knowledge of optimization and integration. You understand what it takes to bring together all the key elements of a product line and its products to ensure coordinated outcomes. You play a central role across critical workstreams, bringing structure, content and context to key deliverables and ensuring the division remains outcome-driven at pace.
Job responsibilities
  • Creates synergies across products to ensure successful delivery against business objectives.
  • Collects key inputs from across products to ensure the full product-line framework highlights our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs.
  • Calculates metrics for portfolio management operations and analyzes data for areas of opportunity.
  • Develops change initiative materials and change timelines.
  • Assists in the product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs.
  • Drive the strategic agenda for Markets Post-Trade Technology in partnership with senior leadership, translate business priorities into a measurable portfolio roadmap advancing platform convergence and rationalization.
  • Drive senior-level alignment through disciplined, outcome-based narrative, synthesize complex inputs (technology, operations, risk, architecture, delivery) into concise executive materials that enable decisions and clarify trade-offs.
  • Maintains portfolio governance and execution cadence, run decision forums and steerco routines; maintain end-to-end oversight of milestones, interlocks, and critical dependencies across workstreams.
  • Maintain transparency and accountability against commitments, track outcome metrics (e.g., KRIs/OKR-style indicators), ensure deliverables remain traceable to business requirements, and produce senior-ready reporting on progress, risks, and actions.
  • Drive cross-functional execution in partnership with technology, operations, and business stakeholders, support sequencing, resourcing, and adoption planning from initiation through release and operationalization.
  • Drive proactive management of portfolio risks and issues, surface constraints early, coordinate mitigation plans, and escalate with structured options and recommendations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to implement operational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Prior working exposure to operations of the product development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience driving technology strategy and portfolio outcomes, translating senior priorities into measurable roadmaps.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication, influencing without authority through clear, outcome-based narrative.
  • Experience running governance and execution cadence, including dependency management and senior-ready reporting across complex workstreams.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on operational readiness and change delivery, from prioritization through operationalization.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, able to synthesize inputs and frame trade-offs across business and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, issues, and delivery in changeable environments, operating effectively under pressure.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Contributes to thought leadership by sharing best practices and mentoring peers.
  • Experience in financial services or a related industry.
  • Exposure to implementing or supporting post-trade workflows in financial services.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
