Job description

We are urgently seeking a skilled Advisor Compensation Analyst to to make a direct impact within a growing firm. In this dynamic position, you will serve as a vital link across system operations, payout management, and stakeholder relations - ensuring precise commission cycles, seamless database maintenance, and exceptional support for financial advisors.


About The Opportunity:

  • Compensation - $60,000 - $70,000 annual base salary
  • Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • Office Schedule - Hybrid - In Office Three Days A Week

Your Responsibilities:

  • System Operations: Maintain compensation data across platforms including Broadridge Advisor Compensation System, Advisor Portal, Excel, Black Diamond, Schwab, and Fidelity.
  • Payout & Fee Management: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly compensation cycles, including commission/fee statement reconciliation, fee schedule reviews/updates, and payout structure setup.
  • Data Analysis & Audit: Query compensation databases to detect errors, review unpaid transactions, analyze fee adjustments, and support audit requests.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Monitor incoming department communications, resolve advisor payout inquiries, and train advisors on using the advisor portal.

  • >>>> Assist advisors with commission inquiries, payouts, and reporting
  • >>>> Work with advisors to assist in their understanding of the use of the advisor portal.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Due Diligence and Product teams to maintain accurate sponsor data across Broker-Dealer and RIA channels.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.


Required Experience:

  • Experience - 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis
  • Industry Awareness - Knowledge of securities laws and regulations
  • Industry Background - Prior experience in securities/broker-dealer industry a plus, but not required
  • Technology Proficiency - Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, if-statements, etc.)
  • Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree of business management, finance, accounting or related field
  • Methodical Approach - Highly organized with effective problem analysis and resolution skills
