ABOUT THIS POSITION

This role partners closely with business leaders and end users to understand their workflows, business practices, and data needs, translating complex information into meaningful insights. This role creates analytics tools and products that help business users identify trends, evaluate performance, and make informed decisions. The role is also expected to assist with data validation techniques and present findings to business users to support understanding, interpretation, and effective use of the analytical product. Responsibilities include querying cloud-hosted databases using structured query language, cleaning and manipulating complex datasets, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, and web-enabled applications through business intelligence and visualization tools. The role builds long-term relationships with internal business users and delivers analytical solutions that go beyond reporting to improve understanding, interpretation, and action on business trends.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform complex data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis from various internal and external data sources.
  • Develop andmaintaininteractive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Proactive identification oftrends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to inform business strategies andidentifyareas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g.,client support, product implementation, marketing, finance, engineering) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage analytics projects by building and executing project plans, tracking milestones and dependencies, and communicating progress, risks, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data models and data governance best practices.
  • Assist in the documentation of data processes, definitions, and analytical methodologies.
  • Participatein the evaluation and implementation of new data analysis tools and technologies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics,Engineeringora relateddiscipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.
  • Proficiencyin SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to diverseaudiencesincluding business executives.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing concepts is desirable.
