Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Systems Analyst supports daily inventory operations and system functionality across the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity, performing inventory transactions and work orders (WOs), supporting physical inventory processes, and fulfilling reporting requests. The role also provides system/software support, analyzes issues, performs testing, and assists with ongoing system upgrades, implementations, and automation initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Inventory Operations

  • Support physical inventory counts for the client and raw materials.
  • Perform inventory transactions, including lot changes, adjustments, transfers, scrap requests, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor, request approval for, and post cycle counts.
  • Create work orders (WOs).
  • Process unit of measure (UoM) changes.
  • Perform order and list price corrections/updates.
  • Import customer address book data.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate inventory and item master data.
  • Fulfill reporting requests for internal stakeholders.
  • Edit Preference Profile tables as needed.

Process Documentation & Improvement

  • Document efficient processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to process innovation with a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Provide ongoing training to users.

Projects & Implementations

  • Support ongoing system upgrades, implementations, and automation projects.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and documentation during project cycles.

System & Software Support

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve help desk tickets (Halo tickets).
  • Reset passwords; set up and disable user accounts.
  • Maintain and support shipping software.
  • Support and troubleshoot systems, including: Web applications, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), Lift, ADSI, RFSMART, Smartsheet, MZ Reach, Litmos, and related tools.
  • Execute technical functions in Noosh.
  • Map buyers in Noosh to E1.
  • Perform E1 system tasks, including: Address Book uploads, ship confirmations (including resolving Orchestrator errors), and inventory adjustments. Add jobs to Preference Profiling (separate from SS Inventory tasks).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate degree in the field of Computer Science/Network Support, or previous service desk/technical support experience required.

Experience: Experience in inventory operations, system support, or related fields preferred.
