Job description

Join our team as an Aftermarket Commercial Operations Coordinator, serving as the link between customers and internal teams to drive aftermarket opportunities and customer orders from RFQ and PO receipt through delivery and fulfillment in the oil and gas industry. This role serves as the central coordination point between customers, inside sales, buyers, supply chain, engineering, schedulers, repair & maintenance (R&M) operations, and commercial leadership to ensure timely quotation generation, order processing, execution follow-through, and proactive customer communication. You'll leverage your industry knowledge and strong communication skills to resolve customer inquiries, improve quoting responsiveness, operational visibility, execution discipline, and overall customer experience across the aftermarket business.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Quotation Support - Generate and issue aftermarket quotations for parts, repairs, upgrades, rentals, and service scopes.  Coordinate with buyers, engineering, and supply chain teams to obtain costing, lead times, and technical inputs.

  • Order Management & Execution Coordination - Process customer purchase orders and raise internal demand signals within ERP systems. 

  • Coordinate with schedulers and R&M operations to align maintenance activities, material availability, and delivery timelines.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination - Drive execution follow-up across buyers, supply chain, vendors, and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Customer Communication & Support - Provide customers with order status updates, lead time communication, and execution visibility.

  • Systems, Reporting & Process Discipline - Maintain accurate opportunity, quotation, order, and backlog updates within Salesforce and ERP systems. 

  • Support continuous improvement of aftermarket execution processes, quote turnaround time, and delivery performance.

Skills / Education

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma

  • 3-7 years of experience in commercial operations, inside sales, order management, supply chain coordination, aftermarket operations, or customer operations within industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, or technical service environments

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional operational workflows in a fast-paced environment

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Communication and stakeholder coordination skillsFamiliarity with ERP systems such as JDE Oracle or SAP 

  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM platformsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally (up to 10%)
