Reporting to the VP & General Manager of Flow Systems, The Director of Commercial Operations (DCO) primary focus is to lead the acquisition, treatment, and governance of all data while leading the development and delivery of favorable outcomes and reporting (both strategic and tactical execution). The DCO will help plan long-term initiatives for success, work with various teams and functions on improvements and solutions, and partner with finance function to maximize profitability. DCO will also drive execution of certain key strategic growth initiatives.
  • Partner with the Flow Systems leadership team to support the development PLCM roadmap, strategic plan and the execution of both.
  • Lead/Support the execution and tracking of key strategic initiatives. Work collaboratively with other functions to drive necessary outcomes.
  • Lead 80/20 product and customer analysis and insights, drive product and system alignment for customer product selection while maximizing sales and minimizing sku complexity.
  • Gather data from multiple sources and organize into a format used to track long term commercial trends
  • Provide comprehensive data analysis on key trends and influencers of orders -- including price, rebate, and commission
  • Identify root cause of macro business unit orders trends at relevant micro (regional, customer, product, etc.) level
  • Influence strategic commercial countermeasures at the L1 and L2 levels based on data analysis
  • Provide support to the General Manager to link commercial insights and strategy execution to business outcomes
  • Partners with Sales REPS, Internal Sales Leaders, Contractors, and Distribution to improve our EODB.
  • Gather knowledge of business finance and understanding of the BU profit and loss.
  • Execute optimized price, rebate, and commission strategies through cross-functional partnership with Product Management and Pricing
  • Provide comprehensive data analysis of standard margin by products, regions and customer and identify key trends/insights
  • Lead SIOP and forecasting (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process and work collaboratively with commercial, operations, supply chain and finance teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required in business, finance, or economics
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrates formal business acumen and analytical grounding.
  • 10 - 15+ years of experience, with 5+ years in Commercial Operations / Sales Operations / Revenue Operations
  • 3+ years leading people or cross-functional programs at scale
  • Regular report out interaction with: VP / GM / Business Unit Leaders & Senior Leadership
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Efficient leveraging Power BI tools (Tableau)
  • Ability to identify opportunities.
  • Ability to build relationships with partners and other functions within the organization.
  • Efficient and detail-oriented
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, human relations, and communication skills.
  • Customer-driven sense of urgency
  • Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
