What You'll Do

  • Manage the accounts receivable aging process, identifying priority accounts and driving collection results
  • Screen and monitor credit risk for both new and existing customer accounts
  • Onboard new customers and manage ongoing customer credit portals
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure and continuously improve collections performance
  • Report credit and collections performance to executive leadership and management
  • Partner with the Accounting team to support broader financial operations and special projects

What Sets You Apart

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn AR aging data into a clear collections strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 companies and customer credit portals
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus

Why Join Smyth?

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule within a collaborative Accounting team
  • Competitive salary ($80,000–$90,000), based on the skills and experience you bring
  • Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and more
  • The opportunity to make a direct, visible impact on Smyth's cash flow and financial health
