Overview
Position Summary
The AR Collection Supervisor will assistance the AR Collection Manager and supervise a team of Collection Specialists to meet and maintain company goals and objectives.
This position be fully onsite based out of the Franklin, TN office.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and collect outstanding receivable through telephone and written communication daily.
  • Supervise the staff's monitoring of assigned accounts to provide cash flow and bottom-line profitability.
  • Resolve discrepancies of payments on a timely basis.
  • Work closely with credit department when additional credit is required or account is delinquent and possible credit suspension is under consideration.
  • Prepare documentation for write-off approvals.
  • Escalate overdue AR for additional collection efforts.
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry and economic events having an impact on operations.
  • Review, maintain, and generate reporting to identify delinquent accounts and other collection measurements.
  • Perform month-end close reporting activities
  • Provide follow up on identified issues and discrepancies.
  • Lead conference calls to resolve ongoing collection issues via Teams and in person.
  • Train and familiarize staff on current collection policies and procedures.
  • Ensure collection policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Assign workload and set priority for staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff's performance and recommend training and development when appropriate.
  • Aid the AR Manager and other Management personnel and perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of supervisory experience; preferably within Accounts Receivable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to receive and understand direction from supervision and management
  • Proficiency with Excel required
  • Experience with MS D365 / SAP is a plus
  • Must be willing to work overtime depending on business demands
