We're looking for a growth-minded leader to help shape the future of our DFW and broader Texas Metro operations.

This role will sit at the table with our Divisional and Texas leadership teams, helping set and execute multi-year growth strategies that expand our impact across the region.

You'll play a key role in:
Developing new client opportunities within DFW and across Texas
Strengthening relationships with our most important clients
Identifying emerging market opportunities to build our long-term pipeline
Leading and executing client and market strategies through business development, project leadership, and team collaboration

We're looking for someone who can balance entrepreneurial drive with operational and technical leadership - someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning strategy into results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibility for Client Development function generally includes leading strategic growth efforts across the division, protecting existing revenue with large corporate clients and continually assessing opportunities for additional revenue streams, finding new sources of revenue within targeted markets or geographies, and implementing strategies that fill the long-term pipeline.This role would place primary focus on the DFW Metroplex but also making strong contributions to the broader Texas region on client- or market-based initiatives.

  • Assists in the development of Client/market growth plans and providing strategic direction for regional market growth for our DFW and other Texas-based teams.
  • Responsible for the development and ownership of one or more of our Client relationships or market strategies, which will include management of a team and providing guidance, mentorship, and direction through regular in-person and remote interactions.
  • Implement, drive, and monitor effective client development strategies at scale and plans that align with business goals.
  • Evaluating and positioning our Teams for new market, client and project pursuits.
  • Association and event planning and participation.
  • Assist in the development of, and maintain compliance to, client development budgets.
  • Prepares project proposals and provides technical review of deliverables as needed.
  • Continually assesses the competitiveness of services provided against relevant comparable markets

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrated success in driving business results by understanding key drivers impacting growth and client value.
  • Builds trusted relationships with high-value clients and serves as a senior partner for the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse staff and in a variety of work environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred but not required.

Experience and/or Training 10+ years professional experience in civil/geotechnical engineering consulting, including minimum of five years in client-facing roles

Licenses/Certificates Current PE license in state of TX preferred but not required.

Technology/Equipment Microsoft Office

Location Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (preferred). Though not preferred, candidates may also be considered for Austin, San Antonio or Houston metro areas.
