Cook - Large Senior Living Community

We are seeking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in East Tucson.  Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Founded in 2012 we have experienced consistent growth adding senior living communities to our family each year. Schedule is 11pm-7:30pm.

Job Description

Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations, as well as company standards. To be a successful cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
  • Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
  • Safe food handling techniques are required
  • Ability to read and understand recipes
  • Work in a team environment
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
