Fulwell Entertainment is looking for a Manager, Youtube Channel Operations to oversee platform strategy, daily operations, and audience growth across our portfolio of YouTube channels.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, audience development, and digital operations. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end YouTube workflows, optimize content for search and discovery, analyze performance, and help shape strategies that maximize engagement across both existing and emerging programming.

The ideal candidate combines strong platform expertise, creative instincts, analytical thinking, and exceptional execution. They are comfortable managing multiple channels, engaging with growing communities, and identifying opportunities to expand our presence and impact on YouTube.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Video Publishing
  • Own the complete video upload pipeline for all channels, ensuring strict adherence to the content calendar and zero missed publish windows.
  • Schedule and publish a minimum of two longform videos weekly, with accurate configuration across all targeted time zones.
  • Configure and monitor monetization settings on the channels to maximize ad revenue and protect against demonetization risk.
  • Verify every piece of content against YouTube's advertiser-friendly guidelines prior to launch.
  • Partner with leadership to build strategic playlists and configure cross-promotional end screens and info cards to drive session time and channel discovery.
Content Optimization
  • Own the full thumbnail strategy for all channels, from concept through final graphic, tailored to each channel's distinct audience and brand identity.
  • Design high-CTR custom thumbnails that stand out in a crowded feed without compromising brand integrity.
  • Write titles that spark curiosity, drive clicks, and are built for algorithmic reach.
  • Craft SEO-optimized descriptions complete with relevant links, timestamps, and resources.
  • Run ongoing competitor and keyword research to inform metadata, tags, and chapter strategy across both channels.
Community Management
  • Moderate comments across the channels to keep the community positive, safe, and active.
  • Engage directly with viewers, responding to comments, questions, and feedback in a way that reflects each channel's voice.
  • Manage the community tab on the channels, including polls, text posts, and behind-the-scenes content.
Analytics & Strategy
  • Monitor YouTube Analytics daily across both channels, tracking CTR, audience retention, and viewer demographics.
  • Build and deliver weekly performance reports that translate raw data into clear takeaways on video performance and audience behavior.
  • Use real-time data to pivot packaging strategy on the fly, boosting algorithmic velocity and improving viewer return rate
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
  • 6+ years of overall content, digital media, or marketing experience, including 3+ years directly managing and growing multiple YouTube channels.
  • Strong graphic design skills with a diverse portfolio of high-performing, custom thumbnails, plus deep hands-on experience with professional design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube algorithm, SEO mechanics, copyright rules, and the operational demands of multi-channel management.
  • Proficiency with YouTube Studio, analytics tools, and optimization software (TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar).
  • Excellent written communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple distinct brand voices simultaneously without cross-contaminating tone or style.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • The company has better visibility into active business development opportunities.
  • Senior leadership can make faster decisions because opportunities are clearly assessed, organized, and framed.
  • High-priority partnerships move forward with greater discipline and fewer dropped balls.
  • Internal teams are better aligned around what matters, who owns what, and what needs to happen next.
  • New opportunities are evaluated through a sharper lens of strategic fit, commercial value, and execution feasibility.
  • Fulwell has a stronger bridge between long-term company strategy and near-term business development activity.
