Position Purpose

The Analyst, Channel Operations provides operational support to Channel stakeholders including non-profit agencies, distribution partners, federal agencies, and internal partners.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support product lifecycle management for AbilityOne NSNs including monitoring new product introductions, NSN additions and deletions, SKU transitions, price changes, communication product substitutions/modifications, and ensuring all updates are accurately reflected across distributor files and internal systems
  • Assist with operational issues affecting federal customers, including backorders, pricing discrepancies, product availability gaps, and data misalignment across PLIMS, GSA, Amazon, wholesalers, and internal databases
  • Support analysis and review of 51.542 sales data
  • Maintain, update, and verify product data across channel partner platforms and internal systems, including quarterly product launches and ad-hoc product additions
  • Support the quarterly product launch process by entering product specifications, operational contacts, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) into wholesaler systems to ensure accurate product availability and readiness
  • Route pricing inquiries to the appropriate team or channel, ensuring timely and accurate resolution for internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate regularly with channel partners via email to provide timely updates and resolve inquiries related to backorders, pricing discrepancies, product availability, and other supply chain barriers affecting order fulfillment
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear, professional written and verbal correspondence, ensuring alignment with deadlines, organizational expectations, and engagement of internal teams, external partners, and federal stakeholders
Other Job Duties
  • Attend weekly customer meetings to discuss supply chain issues, provide updates, and collaborate on solutions to ensure program efficiency and continuity
  • Coordinate projects and initiatives, including supporting wholesaler sponsorship requests and other program-related activities
  • Collect and disseminate product information from NPAs to enhance wholesaler system content, improve data accuracy, and reduce frustrated freight or supply chain disruptions
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis support to the channel team as needed
  • Support channel team by assisting with planning and event matrix preparation
  • Train colleagues and channel partners on new tools, processes, and compliance requirements, with a focus on Excel and pivot tables
  • Other duties as assigned

Travel

This position includes anticipated travel responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 10% to visit key customers and stocking partners' distribution centers, gaining supply chain insights to support resolution of operational issues within the program
Experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of operational support experience, resolution of customer support issues and working knowledge of related industry and business practices
Education, Certifications, and Licensure
  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited university or college
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may also be acceptable

Minimum Technical Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel at an advanced level
  • Experience usingZoom, Microsoft Teams, and/or other online meeting platforms
  • Knowledge of AbilityOne policies 51.540 and 51.542, ensuring compliance with program requirements and supporting accurate reporting and operational processes
  • Experience responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining program compliance
