The People & Culture (P&C) Specialist plays a key role in supporting the organization's human resources operations and partnering with employees and leaders across Beyond Gravity USA. Reporting closely with senior P&C leadership, this position is primarily responsible for the administration of payroll for all U.S. employees. In addition, the P&C Specialist supports a broad range of HR functions, with a primary focus on the Titusville, FL location, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, training and development, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with affirmative action programs and employment laws. The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional employee support and service.
Our Mission
  • Perform payroll administration and related activities for all Beyond Gravity USA employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as administrator and primary point of contact for HR and payroll systems, including ADP, SAP, and SuccessFactors, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and process efficiency.
  • Support and administer key Human Resources programs, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employment processing, training and development, benefits administration, employee records management, employee relations, retention initiatives, safety programs, and AA/EEO compliance.
  • Partner with managers and employees to address workplace issues, provide coaching and guidance, and implement effective solutions that enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate and complete special projects by conducting research, developing recommendations, organizing information, and managing implementation timelines.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll, and organizational information.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; advise management on HR-related risks, requirements, and best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Human Resources trends, practices, and legal developments through professional development, networking, and continuing education.
  • Contribute to the success and reputation of the People & Culture function by proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead and support investigations related to employee concerns, workplace issues, and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Serve as the U.S. point of contact for the corporate travel booking and expense reimbursement system.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture by fostering employee engagement, strengthening employee relations, and supporting inclusion and collaboration initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance on administrative and reporting activities, including accounts payable and receivable support, invoicing, account reconciliations, expense reporting, audit preparation, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
  • Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned to support business and organizational objectives.

Your Story
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or other technical environment.
  • Experience administering multi-state payroll and working with payroll systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, preferably SAP SuccessFactors or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and affirmative action requirements.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance programs.
  • Must be willing to work from Titusville, FL office Monday through Friday (this is not a remote position)
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR), preferred
  • Experience processing payroll for a multi-site organization, preferred.
  • Experience supporting audits, reporting, and HR compliance initiatives, preferred.
  • Knowledge of finance processes such as expense reporting, account reconciliations, and audit preparation, preferred.
  • Experience working in a global, matrix organization and collaborating with international stakeholders, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
