USED CAR MANAGER - CAPITOL CHEVROLET (AUSTIN, TX)
Capitol Chevrolet is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department and drive both volume and profitability. We are one of the top-performing Chevrolet dealerships in Texas, and we need a leader who can bring intensity, structure, and a strong financial mindset to our operation.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a proven automotive professional with:
  • Minimum 5+ years of Finance Manager experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of Used Car Manager experience
  • Strong understanding of deal structure, front-end gross, and backend opportunities
  • Ability to appraise vehicles accurately and aggressively
  • Proven track record of driving volume while maintaining gross
  • Experience managing inventory, pricing strategy, and turn rate
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the used vehicle inventory and acquisition strategy
  • Drive front-end gross and total PVR performance
  • Work closely with the desk and sales team to structure deals and maximize profitability
  • Oversee vehicle appraisals and ensure consistency in evaluation
  • Analyze market trends and adjust pricing using tools and real-time data
  • Lead and develop the sales team with a focus on urgency, accountability, and execution
  • Ensure strong inventory turn and aged unit management
  • Collaborate with Finance to maximize backend performance
