Position Overview

Westbrook Toyota is hiring an experienced Used Car Manager / Buyer to lead our pre-owned operation. This role is ideal for a process-driven automotive professional who can source inventory, work directly with customers, and lead by example while developing a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Source and acquire used vehicles through trades, direct purchases, auctions, and internal prospecting
  • Appraise vehicles accurately and competitively
  • Manage pricing, merchandising, and inventory turn
  • Work with customers on appraisals, purchases, and deal structuring
  • Train, mentor, and hold sales staff accountable to dealership processes
  • Utilize DMS and CRM systems to prospect for trade, equity, and purchase opportunities
  • Partner with Sales and F&I to maximize profitability and compliance
  • Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, customer engagement, and accountability
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Used Car Manager and Buyer
  • Strong appraisal and inventory management skills
  • Finance & Insurance experience is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to deliver vehicles when needed
  • Process-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working directly with customers
  • Working knowledge of dealership DMS, CRM, and lead management platforms
  • Proven ability to coach, train, and lead sales professionals
