Location: Hackensack, NJ (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite; shuttle service available from NYC)

Salary: Up to $125,000

Reports to: PMO Manager, North America (with a dotted line to the Global Head of Product & Portfolio and North America Head of Marketing)

About the Position

We are looking for a highly organized and collaborative PMO Project Coordinator to support the execution of Flora Food Group's North America innovation and portfolio initiatives.

In this role, you'll help drive operational excellence by coordinating cross-functional projects, maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring teams remain aligned throughout the innovation lifecycle. Working closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Procurement, and Operations, you'll play a critical role in delivering projects on time while improving visibility and execution across the portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project management fundamentals who enjoys bringing structure, organization, and accountability to fast-paced, cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Governance & Project Management

  • Support the implementation and ongoing execution of the North America PMO framework aligned with global Product & Portfolio standards.
  • Maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestone trackers, and governance documentation.
  • Prepare materials for weekly project reviews, monthly portfolio meetings, and leadership governance forums.
  • Ensure project data and portfolio management systems remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to the PMO Manager when appropriate.

Innovation & Portfolio Execution

  • Coordinate innovation and portfolio projects from concept through commercialization and post-launch review.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project timelines aligned to commercial launch windows and key business milestones.
  • Track project deliverables, dependencies, and action items across multiple functions.
  • Facilitate weekly project meetings and document decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines.
  • Support teams in removing execution barriers and maintaining project momentum.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.
  • Follow up on key deliverables including business cases, product briefs, launch readiness activities, and commercialization milestones.
  • Prepare executive-ready project status reports and leadership presentations.
  • Ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into project status, risks, priorities, and next steps.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support the development and enhancement of PMO templates, dashboards, reporting tools, and governance processes.
  • Recommend improvements that simplify project management and strengthen execution discipline.
  • Promote consistent project management best practices across the organization.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management Office (PMO), project coordination, project management, or similar roles.
  • Experience supporting multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, or FMCG.
  • Experience supporting innovation, product development, commercialization, or portfolio management projects.
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate or other structured product development methodologies.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent) is a plus.
