Job description

Role Title: PM/PMO Support Analyst
Location: Remote- local candidates need to come in 2 times per week (Chicago is local)
Duration: 6-month contract
Required Tech/Experience:

  2. Smartsheet
  3. Excel

Preferred Tech/Experience (Not required, but moves the candidate to the top of the list):
  1. Smartsheet solution cert

PURPOSE:
We are looking for an analyst with project management experience to join a small but motivated team to assist with the creation of a cross-functional PMO.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The PMO Support Analyst will support the creation and population of the tools (Smartsheet) and governance process for the successful launch of a PMO across many cross-functional and global teams. This position must be able to perform both content population, as well as to assist in training others to populate the tools and provide input to the creator of the tool as to approach and design. The PMO Support Analyst must have a sound understanding of Smartsheet, Excel and PowerPoint, very good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with speed and flexibility.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข 2+ years of experience in Project Management
โ€ข High-level command of Smartsheet, Excel and PowerPoint
โ€ข Experience, taking minutes, preparing PowerPoint presentations, inputting data into smartsheet, analyzing data in excel, etc.
โ€ข Knowledge of PMO, Project/Program/Platform/Portfolio Management processes and roles
โ€ข Previous experience with an Agile approach is a plus
