LightGrid is Hiring a Project Manager/Scheduler in Fort Meade, MD. Active DoD SECRET Clearance Is required. This position is on site 5 days a week at Fort Meade, MD Required Skills
2-3 years of experience providing project management support/coordination for a DoD customer
• Extremely capable of using MS Project to create project schedules from scratch, conduct updates, and provide reports on scheduling. These schedules will be rolled up into a Directorate level IMS.
• Thorough understanding of how to develop and utilize an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) • Requirements Management
• Risk Management • Experience performing PMI- based project management processes
• Ability to provide proactive communication with their Gov. Lead • Experience developing and refining PowerPoint slides, data in excel, and briefings
• Detail oriented and customer focused
• Minimal Technical Knowledge of Transport Networks/Telecom
• Bachelors Degree is required. • Nice to have:
o experience at DISA
o experience in telecommunications project management PMP or CAPM from PMI, any MS Project certifications or courses Position Expectations: -Develop project-level schedules -Consolidate project-level schedules into an IMS
-Provide project management support services within a DISA IE program
-Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to assist with project-schedules
-Track program/project status and provide updates via various reporting mechanisms
