A leading podcast and audiobook company seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Member Analytics team and support data-driven decision making across Marketing and Product organizations. This role will focus on retention, engagement, customer behavior analysis, experimentation, and growth initiatives by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that influence business strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and technical expertise in SQL, Tableau, experimentation, and data visualization to help drive sustainable customer growth and long-term value.

Business Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to conduct end-to-end business intelligence analyses, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support customer retention, engagement, and growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, competitive intelligence assets, and self-service reporting tools using Tableau and other analytics platforms to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze customer behavior, listening trends, campaign performance, and product usage data to identify opportunities for optimization and long-term business value creation.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments, applying statistical methodologies to measure impact, interpret results, and recommend future testing opportunities.
  • Leverage SQL and large-scale datasets to extract, transform, and analyze data, while supporting the development and enhancement of scalable reporting processes and data pipelines.
  • Present findings, trends, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership through reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.

Business Intelligence Analyst Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related analytical roles.
  • 3+ years of relevant analytics experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting subscription-based businesses, growth marketing, retention, or engagement analytics is preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Strong experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and statistical techniques such as t-tests and chi-square analysis.
  • Experience translating complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing scalable reporting solutions or data pipelines is preferred.
