Job Title: Junior Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Falls Church, VA

Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting, LLC (3RC) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support a Defense Health organization in Falls Church by transforming complex health, readiness, and operational data into actionable insights. This role contributes to decision-making across clinical, financial, and organizational domains, helping improve outcomes for service members, families, and beneficiaries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to grow within a data-driven, mission-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple Defense Health systems and sources.
• Support the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical products using enterprise BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL-based environments).
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Document data requirements, user needs, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, clinicians, and program leaders to support ongoing projects and reporting cycles.
• Participate in data quality reviews and recommend improvements to data integrity.
• Help maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and reporting standards.
• Learn and comply with DHA/MHS data governance, security, and privacy policies.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Health, Business, or related field.
• Foundational skills in data analysis, reporting, or statistics.
• Basic proficiency in SEMOSS, SQL, Excel, and one or more BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
U.S. citizenship (required for DoD clearance eligibility).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience or coursework related to healthcare analytics, military health systems, or federal programs.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
• Exposure to data governance or data quality best practices.
• Understanding of KPIs and metrics related to healthcare delivery, readiness, or performance management.
