Job description

About OnePay
OnePay is the consumer fintech trusted by millions of Americans to make money better.
Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We're fixing it. And we're moving fast.
We're an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We're backed by Walmart, the world's largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech's most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.
But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don't have time to wait... and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we're looking for people who are:
  • Ready to run
  • Hungry and driven by urgency
  • Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
  • Comfortable operating in motion

The role
As a Brokerage Operations Lead, you will run the day-to-day operations of OnePay's brokerage services across both our Invest and Crypto products. You will be the operational backbone of the brokerage - ensuring trades, money movement, and asset servicing functions execute accurately, compliantly, and at scale. You will also be building the future of Brokerage Operations leveraging Ai tools with unlimited tokens.
You will serve as the designated principal (Series 24) and act as the first line of supervision and operational owner; serving as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day issues, escalations, and incident response across brokerage operations.
You will partner closely with Customer Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and our clearing and crypto partners to ensure a secure, scalable, and customer-first trading experience. You will have the chance to really build with us, using the most modern Ai tools, as we continue to scale.
This role is responsible for:
  • Owning and operating the day-to-day brokerage operations across OnePay Invest and Crypto, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution across the full trade and asset lifecycle
  • Supervising brokerage operations as a designated principal (Series 24), ensuring adherence to SEC/FINRA regulations, WSPs, and internal controls
  • Serving as the primary US-based escalation point, leading resolution of trade breaks, incidents, and real-time operational issues
  • Partnering closely with the India-based Brokerage Operations Lead to provide continuous operational coverage, share oversight of daily operations, and ensure consistency across regions
  • Oversight and management of core brokerage functions, including trade corrections, settlements, reconciliations, money movement, and transfers (ACATS)
  • Overseeing corporate actions and asset servicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across dividends, splits, and other trade related events
  • Monitoring operational health and performance, including exception queues, customer support volumes, and proactively addressing risks
  • Acting as the primary liaison with our clearing broker-dealer, and crypto partners, ensuring seamless execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Building error management frameworks and partnering with Product and Engineering on workflow automation; optimizing the build using Ai tools such as Claude, Gemini and many more with unlimited tokens

You bring
  • 7+ years of brokerage or trading operations experience (fintech or broker-dealer preferred)
  • Active FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, and 24 (required)
  • Experience as a supervisory principal with direct ownership of brokerage operations
  • Experience operating in a follow-the-sun or global operations model, with shared ownership across regions
  • Experience building processes and automations with Ai tools
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Trade lifecycle (execution → settlement → reconciliation)
    • Corporate actions, transfers (ACATS), and money movement
    • SEC / FINRA regulations and operational risk controls
  • Proven ability to run day-to-day operations in a high-volume, real-time environment
  • Experience managing incidents, escalations, and customer-impacting issues
  • Strong systems thinker with a track record of building scalable processes and tooling
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on leader and operator
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and CX
  • Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for action and ownership

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
  • A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact
