The Brokerage Operations Analyst supports freight brokerage operation
by ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and operational integrity
across brokerage platforms. This role sits between Operations and
Systems/Technology, identifying data issues, auditing transactions,
performing reconciliations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to
resolve root causes.
This is a hands-on analyst role ideal for someone who understands
brokerage workflows and enjoys digging into data, systems, and process
gaps.
Key Responsibilities
• Audit brokerage transactions and system data for accuracy and
completeness
• Identify and investigate system errors, data inconsistencies, and
process breakdowns
• Perform reconciliations between TMS, financial systems, and
reporting tools
• Conduct root-cause analysis and partner with Operations and IT to
resolve issues
• Support system enhancements, data clean-up efforts, and control
processes
• Create queries, reports, or dashboards to monitor data quality and
trends
Accountabilities
• Create and manage datasets and reporting out of Brokerage and FTL
systems (Motus, Truckmate, SoftPoint, SAP, OTM, WebEC, etc.)
• Resolve technical issues between systems - drive RCA on whether it
is a systemic or operational issue
• Develop audit frameworks and prevent financial and operational risk.
Determine areas for continuous improvement through data driven
decision making

• Advanced Excel skills; SQL, Power BI, or Power Query experience
required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and
Technology teams

Pay Range:
$75k-$85k annually
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
