ROLE OVERVIEW

The Branch Manager holds full responsibility for growing and running the branch — driving sales, profitability, and market share while keeping operations, people, and customers thriving. You'll oversee everything from sales and warehouse logistics to inventory, finance, facilities, and team development.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Strategy

  • Manage all branch functions: sales, warehouse, inventory, finance, HR, and facilities
  • Set goals aligned with company direction; build action plans with clear timelines and deliverables
  • Analyze information to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities; act decisively
  • Allocate resources and delegate effectively while staying informed on outcomes

Leadership & People Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members with clear expectations and feedback
  • Build a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Resolve conflict quickly and constructively; model the behaviors you expect
  • Recognize and reward strong performance; create pathways for advancement

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly across all levels — from team huddles to executive updates
  • Facilitate agreement, drive consensus, and follow through on commitments
  • Maintain honest, transparent relationships built on integrity and mutual respect

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year in a similar role (3+ years preferred); wholesale distribution experience a plus
  • Supervisory experience and proficiency across all branch operation functions strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours; comfortable working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
