Benefits Analyst

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Analyst to support and enhance a healthcare claims processing system within a managed care environment. This role is critical in ensuring accurate benefit configuration, claims adjudication, and data integrity while driving system improvements and automation.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and a high-impact role as the first Benefits Analyst on the team, requiring strong analytical expertise and system configuration experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain claims processing systems (EZ-Cap preferred)
  • Ensure accuracy of benefit setup, eligibility, assignments, and claims adjudication
  • Perform fee schedule management and contract interpretation
  • Conduct data integrity audits and payment accuracy analysis
  • Run SQL/Access queries and analyze large datasets
  • Improve system automation and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams on implementations and system impacts
  • Interpret managed care contracts, including DOFR
