Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, manage client accounts, and contribute to the success of a company that values its employees. Compensation Package
  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000+ (depending on experience).
  • Benefits: Competitive benefits package, ESOP, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model with up to 2 remote workdays per week.
Responsibilities
  • Manage client accounts, including groups ranging from 150 to 500 lives, with some smaller and larger accounts.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee benefits, including all lines of coverage and self-funded accounts.
  • Assist clients during enrollment periods by explaining benefits and addressing inquiries.
  • Ensure seamless service delivery and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support producers in quoting and servicing renewal business.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Utilize Applied Epic software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of agency benefits account management experience.
  • Licensure in Life & Health (L&H) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded accounts and generalist experience across all lines of coverage and industries.
  • Experience with compliance is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic software is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Candidates with TPA or MGA experience and extensive self-funded expertise will also be considered.
