Job description

Pay: $15.50 per hour

 Purpose:

The Back of House Supervisor is to be the “eagle-eye” of

daily operations. They stand “outside” of operations to get a holistic view of

how we are performing, so as to quickly identify the area(s) in which we are

failing and come up with solutions to rectify issues. Supervisors are well

versed in operations. They are oftentimes the temporary solution to get a

failing position back on track.

Requirements:

Ability to work at least 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, for opening

or closing, as needed)

Demonstrates ability to lead team effectively in opening or closing

the restaurant

Demonstrates commitment to Chick-fil-A’s Vision, Mission and Core

Values

ServSafe Manager certified

Understands key operational metrics and systems (Lean, FIFO)

No unresolved issues regarding restaurant policies

Skills:

Demonstrates ability to simultaneously assist leadership, serve guests

and guide team members

Ability to execute operations efficiently in high volume/high stress

periods and take command of one area of the business

Great communicator that applies critical thinking to solve complex

problems and/or diffuse conflict issues

Proficient ability to mentor and encourage others

Reliable, consistent, takes ownership and craves accountability

Job Responsibilities:

 

  Manage all Shift operations, including:

Daily financial accounting - count change fund, count and close

cashier drawers, make Smart Safe cash deposits, receive and record LOOMIS

deliveries etc.

Perform daily workflow tasks in Inform software program

Receive and/or send product transfers in Inform software program

Make decisions concerning issuance of customer refunds

Actively manage labor productivity throughout the Shift

Assess operations and make leadership decisions or adjustments around

anticipated needs e.g. inventory supply, weather conditions etc.

Support Directors in execution of targeted initiatives to meet

desired results

Perform 30-day team member and quarterly team leader evaluations

Address/resolve customer service issues
