AFC Urgent Care is seeking Medical Assistants with exceptional customer service skills to become part of our team. The primary responsibility of the Back Office Lead is to manage clinical support operations in the delivery of an exceptional overall patient care experience. The Back Office Lead is expected to maintain a high degree of organizational acumen, attentiveness and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Be proficient in essential Back Office functions and basic Front Office operations.
2. Assists in the training and development of support staff.
3. Assist Providers navigate the EHR/EMR features and functions.
4. Ensure optimal patient workflow and minimal wait times.
5. Maintain medical equipment to include x-ray unit.
6. Managed medical supply inventories to support day to day operations.
7. Ensure Monthly QA of Lab, Radiology and control logs are up to date.
8. Assist with patient callbacks, follow-up and appointment reminder calls.
9. Perform patient complaint resolutions while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Requirements include:
Medical Assistant Certificate
Two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must be willing to work schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 2PM-8PM, Friday 8AM-2PM, & Saturday 8AM-5PM
Possess exceptional customer service skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
