As an Operations Support Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting our branches, employees, and members by ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and efficient back-office processes. From ACH processing and card services to audits and compliance support, you'll help keep the credit union running at its very best. This position is an on-site role Akron Ohio 44308


What You'll Do

As an Operations Support Associate, you will:

  • Process, research, correct, and track EFT and ACH transactions while responding to related inquiries.
  • Provide card services support, including file maintenance, PIN requests, card recovery assistance, and operational reporting.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures.
  • Support procedural compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Act Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance throughout the organization.
  • Conduct branch audits and reviews of operational and loan procedures to ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary resource and subject matter expert for teller operations across the organization.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide back-office support to various departments.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist members and employees by providing accurate information, guidance, and solutions.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities that contribute to the success of the credit union.

What You'll NeedRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong accounting and balancing knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask effectively
  • A genuine desire to help people and support team success
Preferred Qualifications
  • Banking, credit union, or financial services experience
  • Experience with ACH processing and operations
  • Knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Act
  • Compliance, auditing, or operational support experience

Compensation

Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00/hour
