About Us

Jacobs Auto Group is a rapidly growing, multi-rooftop automotive retail organization with locations in Wesley Chapel, New Port Richey, and a brand-new flagship store opening inย Bradenton. As we expand, we are looking for an experiencedย Automotive Office Managerย to lead and elevate our accounting operations across all stores.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and building a world-class accounting team for a high-growth group.

Position Overview

We are seeking aย highly experienced, hands-on Automotive Office Managerย withย multi-rooftop dealership experience.
The right candidate must be able to build processes, standardize accounting across multiple stores, and support the launch of our new flagship Bradenton location.

You will oversee:

  • Daily accounting operations
  • Financial reporting
  • Budgets & forecasts
  • AR/AP
  • Payroll collaboration
  • Deal posting
  • Schedules reconciliation
  • Inventory control
  • Manufacturer statements
  • Multi-store consistency and compliance

Experience withย Tekionย is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting functions across 3 rooftops (with continued expansion planned)
  • Standardize chart of accounts, mapping, and accounting processes
  • Manage and mentor office staff (AP/AR, billing, title, etc.)
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for all stores
  • Review and reconcile all schedules monthly
  • Monitor and manage receivables, payables, and cash flow
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory, flooring, warranty receivables, and contracts in transit
  • Support HR/payroll with payroll accuracy and requirements
  • Develop strong financial controls and internal audit processes
  • Work directly with ownership and the GM on financial strategy
  • Assist with onboarding and accounting setup for the new Bradenton store

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an Automotive Office Managerย (multi-store required)
  • Strong knowledge of dealership accounting, schedules, and reconciliations
  • Experience with Tekion, Reynolds, CDK, or Dealertrack
  • Deep understanding of sales, service, parts, and finance accounting
  • Ability to build and lead accounting teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership ability
  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • Experience launching or restructuring store accounting is a plus
