Job Title: Automobile Dealership Bookkeeper

Location: New Rochelle NY

Are you an experienced Auto Dealership bookkeeper looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further!  Audi New Rochelle is a family owned  automobile dealership serving the tri-state area since 1980. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, bank deposits and payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and maintain organized financial filing systems
  • Perform general ledger entries
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes
  • Assist with payroll processing 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper in an automotive dealership or in a similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and general ledger reconciliation
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
