Automotive Billing Clerk Job Description:
The Huffines Billing Clerk accurately records the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold units.
Automotive Billing Clerk Job Responsibilities:
  • Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN, etc.)
  • Verify compliance documents
  • Bill all new and used car deals and post them into accounting software
  • Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mails them to appropriate financial institutions in a timely manner
  • Prepare trade jacket to include proper title and titling documents
  • Generate and maintain the sales person's commission reports and list of commission's on-hold
  • Daily management of the DOC. (Daily Operating Control)
  • Provide administrative support to management and other departments
  • Accesses computer files and compiles reports as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned
