Sales Operations Associate

EOS

Hayward, CA • On-site

Job description

OUR COMPANY:
EOS IT Solutions is a global technology and logistics company, providing Collaboration and Business IT Support services to some of the world's largest industry leaders, delivering forward-thinking solutions based on multi-domain architecture. Customer satisfaction and commitment to superior quality of services are our top business priorities, along with investing in and supporting our partners and employees.
We are a true international IT provider and are proud to deliver our services through global simplicity with trusted transparency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Sales Operations Associate, you own the commercial engine that drives quotes from request to delivery. You are the connective tissue between our customers, OEM partners, and distribution channels - and you operate with urgency, precision, and commercial intelligence. This is not a passive coordination role. You will be expected to anticipate bottlenecks, drive outcomes, and apply lessons from every engagement to get sharper and faster over time. You'll work across a customer base that includes some of the largest technology organizations in the world, and they expect a lot. So do we.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own the end-to-end quote process - from the moment a customer request lands, you drive it forward without being chased. You know the next step and you've already taken it.
  • Register and manage bid submissions directly with OEM platforms (including Cisco CCW and equivalent tools), working with OEM account managers to secure deal approval at the correct discount tier for the customer. You understand how the approval chain works and how to navigate it efficiently.
  • Engage global distribution channels - coordinating with national and global distributors to secure competitive and accurate pricing. Speed and accuracy here are non-negotiable.
  • Build accurate, competitive, and professional quotes in Sage X3 and deliver them to customers with clarity - addressing questions, explaining commercials, and closing the loop.
  • Maintain live visibility into OEM and distributor pricing across networking and Audio-Visual hardware - proactively flagging changes before they become a problem on a live deal.
  • Translate past project learnings into smarter future quotes - if a margin got squeezed, a lead time was missed, or a deal took too long, you understand why and you adjust.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and pricing trends across the hardware categories we sell, bringing market intelligence to the account management team.
  • Maintain meticulous records of bids, pricing data, customer interactions, and deal history - your documentation is the source of truth for the commercial team.
  • Drive final project invoicing in close coordination with Account Management, ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Represent Sales Operations in customer meetings with confidence - you can speak to quote status, pricing rationale, and timelines without needing to escalate for basic answers.
  • Partner with Finance to resolve invoicing queries and manage customer follow-up with the same responsiveness you bring to quoting.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
  • 2+ years in a sales operations, inside sales, or commercial support role within a technology reseller or VAR environment - you know how hardware moves from OEM to distributor to customer and why that matters.
  • Hands-on experience navigating OEM bid registration platforms (Cisco CCW or comparable) - you've worked directly with OEM account managers and understand deal approval workflows.
  • Deep commercial fluency in hardware resale - you understand margins, cost structures, and the mechanics of buying and reselling technology at scale.
  • You come with solutions, not problems - when something is blocked, you can identify possible ways around it before you escalate to your manager.
  • Proven experience with ERP or quoting platforms (Sage X3 or equivalent); comfortable working across systems and adapting quickly to new tooling.
  • Exceptional prioritization under pressure - you can manage multiple live deals simultaneously.
  • Surgical attention to detail - a wrong part number, a missed discount, or a pricing error is not an option at the volume and velocity we operate.
  • Clear, direct, and professional communicator - with customers, with OEMs, and internally.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative without being asked - you see a gap, you fill it; you see a risk, you address it
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - you will be required to analyze data and create working documents, not just formatting spreadsheets.
  • Operates well in high-tempo, high-accountability environments.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
  • Domain knowledge in networking or audio-visual environments - you understand the products you're quoting.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco CCW, Sage X3, and Jira
  • Track record of applying lessons learned from past projects to improve future commercial outcomes - you debrief, you adapt, you improve
  • Experience working in a reseller or VAR environment supporting enterprise or Fortune 500 customers
