SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • In collaboration with Communications & Training, Business Development, and other SMEs, oversee responses toproposals.

  • Identifies, clarifies, and evaluates proposal opportunities and requirements to support development of the overall proposal strategy and concept.

  • Meets proposal deadline byestablishingpriorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmittingproposals.

  • Gathers proposal information byidentifyingsources of information; coordinating submissions and collections;identifyingand communicating risks associated withproposals.

  • Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature,objectives/outcomes/ deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials with theassistanceof Subject Matter Experts

  • Overseepresentations by evaluating text, graphics, binding,andcoordinating printing.

  • Maintains quality resultsand proposal support databasesby using theLoopioplatform;following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.

  • Obtain approvals by reviewing proposalswith key providers and project managers.

  • Collaborate with the ProposalDevelopmentDirectorfor final review of all proposals.

  • Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes,approach, coordination, and boilerplate, implementingchanges.

  • Review othercompany'sresponses to lostproposals.

  • Updates job knowledge byparticipatingin educational opportunities;maintainingpersonal networks; travels to sites the company currently hascontracts withto learn from the site.

  • Represent Advanced Correctional Healthcare at both current and potential clients' meetings including, but not limited to, pre-bid walkthroughs and site visits.

  • Supports organizational goals by taking ownership of new and evolving requests,identifyingopportunities for improvement, and contributing added value to job responsibilities and outcomes.

  • Maintainan accurateand up-to-date strategic planning manual withcontinuityBUS plan and goals.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma orequivalent required.

  • 2+ years' experience writing proposalsor a4-year degree in a related field isrequired.

  • Technical documentation experienceis highlypreferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, Adobe Acrobat, and email skillsarerequired.
