A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules for active construction projects.
  • Work with the Project Team to help develop schedule structure and layout before detailed scope-based development begins.
  • Track milestones, compare actual progress against the plan, and help identify schedule deviations.
  • Support project teams in coordinating sequencing, manpower timing, and major schedule milestones.
  • Participate in internal scheduling meetings and help keep schedule updates current and accurate.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly schedule reporting and project-specific schedule updates.
  • Help review subcontractor schedules and identify opportunities for improvement or alignment with the overall project schedule.
  • Assist superintendents with 3-week look-ahead schedules to ensure field planning aligns with the master project schedule.
  • Travel to job sites as needed to monitor progress and better understand construction sequencing in the field.
  • Maintain organized records of schedule updates, revisions, and historical performance data.
  • Learn scheduling best practices, reporting methods, and scheduling software while supporting multiple projects concurrently.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-5 years of scheduling experience with a General Contractor
  • Direct experience supporting data center construction, mission-critical, or highly technical commercial projects
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) (required); experience with Microsoft Project a plu
  • High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within project teams and manage assignments independently.
  • Ability to travel to project sites nationwide and walk the job site as needed.
  • Familiarity with Procore and BIM as they relate to sequencing and coordination is a plus.
  • Internship or entry-level experience with a general contractor or construction manager is preferred
