Position Overview:
The Associate Program Manager role provides unique exposure to all facets of project execution from initial planning through delivery. This role is structured to deepen your skills in project management, contract oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. On-site in Euclid, Ohio
Your Day to Day as a Associate Program Manager:
  • Act as the primary liaison between BWXT and the customer, managing customer relationships and all administrative elements of assigned contracts
  • Maintain a solid understanding of all phases of assigned contracts and the responsibilities of the Project Manager
  • Assist in developing project plans with a focus on cost control and schedule management
  • Manage revision control for technical documents to ensure all materials are current, accurate, and compliant with contract requirements
  • Support the creation, tracking, and distribution of project documentation, including project plans, status updates, and change orders
  • Coordinate communication among project teams, vendors, and internal departments to promote effective project execution
  • Assist in monitoring project milestones, deadlines, and budget performance as needed
  • Ensure all project records are organized and maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Support quality assurance activities by documenting procedural updates and improvements, and by managing databases and communication platforms that provide secure access to project information.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and SharePoint
  • Background in a technical or engineering environment
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of document management and quality assurance practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance

Pay: $76,000 - $119,000
The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $76,000 and $119,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
